Why I love it: This story is so intense it has you hanging on to every word and just wanting more! It is incredibly written and the mystery and Kurt’s back-story combined are so dark and unique that I just couldn’t stop reading! We gradually hear about all these terrible things that have happened to Kurt, his past is absolutely heartbreaking! I love Kurt’s character in this story, he’s both playful and serious, fearless and haunted, all these opposites that come together to make an amazing AU version of him that is extremely well written. Anyways, definitely check this story out, it’s got this great mystery and lots of suspense, paired with a great relationship between Kurt and Blaine. Also, when you’re done and wanting more, check out the sequel that’s already out called ‘The Boy With The Thorn In His Side’.

Why I love it: This fic has a bit of everything; it’s funny, fluffy, romantic, cute, and overall an absolutely fantastic story! I love where each of the Glee cast is ‘cast’ in this fic, it’s always exciting to see where authors put certain characters in such AU settings, and I highly approve of all the character placements in this story! Blaine’s struggles with Dewdrop are absolutely adorable, and I love the Hummels in this fic, the way their family is so tightly knit is really great to see! It’s just a really sweet story that had me squealing and flailing over different parts while reading. Definitely check it out, it’s a great break from all the restlessness and sadness this hiatus is bringing us! ;)

Why I love it: I had heard that this story was absolutely amazing, but was always intimidated by the size, but I finally decided to take the plunge and read it, and am I ever glad I did! It’s this fantastic AU story where Blaine is a jock at McKinley and Kurt is a new student who stands out in the crowd, and it plays out like a perfect teenage TV drama. It’s got ups and downs, fluff and angst, and once you are sucked in it’s hard to stop reading! There is never a dull moment in this story, whenever there is a hint of a lull, something happens and it keeps you on your toes when reading, waiting for the unexpected! If you are looking for a long, fun, fantastic fic, definitely check this one out, it’s got a bit of everything in it for everyone, and it’s just a really great read!

Why I love it: Okay, so for all of you (like me, until today!) who haven’t read this gem yet, this is me telling you to DO IT, because you are going to regret not reading this sooner (I know I am!). This story is absolutely 100% flawless. I put off reading this because age gap fics make me a little hesitant and nervous, but this story handles it perfectly and the story becomes so much more than an age gap fic, it’s about them coming together and their lives and how they change because of one another, and it’s just beautiful. The plot was incredibly amazing, I love stories that feature Kurt or Blaine as an artist, and the way Blaine’s paintings were described (as well as the process of making them) is just lovely, you just get these stunning mental pictures during each scene! Then in the later chapters it gets pretty intense, with a lot more drama and suspense, but still Kurt and Blaine’s love is so prevalent and well written you just want to cry and cheer and scream all at once! I just finished reading it, so it’s still hard for me to put all I’m feeling into words, but here’s the bottom line: you need to read it! It is stunningly beautiful and if you haven’t already read it, you need to, and if you have read it, re-read it, because it’s one of those stories that you will go back and re-read, it is just so well done!!

Why I love it: I love stories where the boys’ roles are completely shifted! In this story Kurt transferred to Dalton first and Blaine is the new transfer, and Kurt tries to befriend Blaine and bring him out of his shell. I just think it’s a really sweet fic, and I love that Kurt has such a big heart and doesn’t let his popularity define him, instead he goes out of his way to try and hang out with Blaine! (I wish more people were like this in the real world!). I really love the Cooper in this story, he’s a great big brother, while still managing to annoy Blaine and cause him embarrassment frequently, it’s just such a great relationship between the two of them! If you are looking for a great story that’s switched up the canon roles and made Kurt and Blaine’s story completely new and unique, while still keeping a canon setting, definitely check this story out!

Why I love it: Sometimes you just need to read something super cute and happy between all the angst, and this story is just the perfect cure-all for the angsty blues! The way that Blaine is so captured with Kurt that he writes ads for him again and again is just so sweet, he just doesn’t give up! I also think the writing notes to each other through windows is one of the most adorable mental pictures ever, and my heart just melted while reading this story! If you are looking for a really fluffy, sweet story featuring our favorite Glee couple, definitely check this story out, it is an absolutely beautiful fic!

Why I love it: This story is really unique and well written! It reminds me a bit of ‘Things I Cannot Change’ by beautifulwhatsyourhurry, because Blaine lives a pretty sheltered life until he realizes he is gay, and then things change drastically (Although the two stories are very different.. just a few things seem similar!). I love how Blaine is used to such a different life, and even things like making coffee are completely different for him now. I also think the author does a fantastic job of writing about Blaine’s sheltered life, because it’s true that Blaine is not slow or stupid, it’s just that he’s grown up in a completely different way, and it is extremely well written in the story. Blaine has this innocence about him that is just so sweet to read, and Kurt and Blaine’s budding relationship is absolutely perfect! I definitely think you should all check this story out, it is really well done and just a really sweet story!

Why I love it: SUCH a cute fic, it’s just such a sweet tiny little fic, and it’s just perfect! The idea of putting pictures on your camera to tell people how to return it is absolutely brilliant, and I plan on taking my own set shortly, because I’ve always been paranoid I’m going to lose my camera, and it’s way too precious to lose! The example in this fic is absolutely adorable, mine will never compare, but this story is so unique I just love it! How authors get such great ideas I will never know, but I strive to be as creative as them some day! :) Anyways, if you are looking for a short, sweet little one-shot, look no further because this one is all of the above, and is beautifully written as well!

Why I love it: I rarely recommend crossovers, because I feel like they single certain groups out (because if you haven’t watched the show/read the book/seen the movie, it can be difficult to understand), but I think that Peter Pan is well known enough to recommend, as well as the fic being such a fantastic story and I just couldn’t not recommend it! The author has clearly done her research and is blending Glee and Peter Pan together absolutely beautifully! The kid!Kurt in the first chapters are so cute, and yet so heartbreaking because you know the fate of his mother from Glee, and the way that teen!Kurt keeps his moms stories alive is just so sweet to read about! This story is just beginning, and already I am so enthralled with the story that I can’t wait for more! If you are a Peter Pan fan or are just looking for a beautifully written unique fic, definitely check out this story because it is brilliant!

Why I love it: A really unique future fic that is an absolutely fantastic read! I’ve definitely never read about Blaine being a soapmaker before, but the way the author describes different scents and the science behind it all is so fascinating, I just love it! It’s also something that Kurt may overlook when it comes to fashion and ‘completing a look’, but I love that he’s discovering the idea behind it (and what different scents mean to different people, that sort of thing) along with us! It’s just such a creative fic, and it’s written so beautifully, I just love the relationship between the boys in this fic! Also, I love the relationship between Kurt and Blaine and their co-workers, because it can get fairly entertaining at times! Seriously, if you haven’t read this story yet, please go give it a read because it is absolutely wonderful and unique and just so well written!
