Summary: (Part of Prompt:) Wes and David, being the helpful friends they are, decide to do something about the simmering sexual tension between Blaine and Kurt, locking them into a closet together, hoping that they would get over themselves and get to making out. They stay outside to ensure their plan is a success. However, due to the years of intense, violent, terrifying bullying Kurt suffered through, he freaks the fuck out, in the mindset that he was supposed to be safe here, feeling deeply betrayed by Wes and David, trapped, and convinced something worse will also happen. He works himself into the mother of all panic attacks, screaming and crying and hyperventilating, whilst Blaine tries desperately to calm him down.
Why I love it: Such a great angsty fic! The fandom often portrays Wes and David as these two goofballs who are always conspiring to get Blaine and Kurt together, so to pair that idea with some heavy angst is just marvelous! I’ve often thought the Warblers must not know what Kurt has all been through and have probably all lived quite privileged lives, so I could definitely see this happening! Also, something about Kurt and angst just works so well together (probably because a lot of Kurt-centric episodes have him crying and showing true emotion?!) and I can’t get enough (does that make me a bad person? Maybe.). Anyways, if you are looking for a little dose of angsty!Kurt with meddling!Warblers, check out this fic because it is a great fill for the Glee Angst Meme!

Summary: (GKM Prompt:) Blaine Anderson had only just turned 15 when his name was pulled out of the Reaping Ball. Small in stature and rather unassuming, he was all-but completely written off for the Hunger Games. But he was always good at surviving, he’d had to learn it at a young age, and to everyone’s surprise, he won. Years later, Blaine, now in his early twenties, is his district’s mentor. Beneath his easy-going and charming exterior, he suffers from PTSD, has reoccurring nightmares about the Games, and doesn’t trust easily. He has a lot of meaningless sex with randoms to try and numb the memories. But this year, his tributes have a new stylist; Kurt Hummel. Blaine is instantly attracted and they form a bond. Kurt’s shocked by how broken Blaine is and they end up having super-intense, loving sex. Bottom!Blaine, please.
Why I love it: The summary sounds like this will be an extremely smutty story, but if you read what has already been uploaded, there will definitely be more to this story than that! I’ve rec’d some Hunger Games crossovers before, and while I love them , having Kurt or Blaine (or both) as tributes breaks my heart every time because there is always a huge chance that they will die, and my poor heart just can’t handle it! This story is also a Hunger Games crossover, but both the boys aren’t tributes, at least not anymore, and so they are involved in the Games but are not in peril all the time (phew!), so that makes me quite happy!! I love that Blaine is struggling so much with memories of his Games, because they are really traumatic and I do think all the people who do survive are probably pretty messed up from the Games (I mean look at Haymitch, he can’t cope without alcohol), it’s just crazy what they do to people! I also love the way Kurt is so willing to rebel against the Games and is willing to take the fall in order to see change happen. This story is only 3 chapters in, and yet I am addicted and my brain is whirring with ideas of what is going to happen next. I really appreciate stories that make my imagination go wild! If you love Hunger Games/Glee crossovers, and are looking for something different, please check this story out because it has a little bit of everything and is extremely well written!

Summary: (Part of GKM prompt) For one reason or another, Kurt is accused of a heinous crime. He denies being involved, but for one reason or another, no one believes him. So in the end, when even his own father thinks he’s responsible, it’s as if he shuts down, giving up his denials completely. After all, what’s the point in fighting if all those he cared most about are so certain he did it? The truth eventually comes out, but by that time it’s too late. (ie. Seeing as just how pretty Kurt is and all, it isn’t unimaginable that him going to prison is like sending a lamb into a den of wolves - ie, potential constant non-con.)
Why I love it: This story takes your heart and shatters into pieces over and over and over, and yet is so addicting to read! The story pretty much begins with Kurt getting released from prison, and trying to rehabilitate him into being a conscious human being again. The amounts of regret each person has in this story is insurmountable and it is quite hard to read at times, but the author just knows exactly how to write such intense angst it is fantastic. If you want to read something extremely angsty and sad, and yet still truly a fantastic story about recovery, I encourage you to read this one!

Summary: (Parts of the prompt) Like in every other Soulmate fic, everybody is born with the name of their soulmate on the palm of their hand. Kurt and Blaine are both born with each others names. When Kurt is young (sort of age 4/5), both of his parents are killed in a car crash and he is sent to live in an orphanage/foster home. The owner of the house is a very strict, highly religious, old woman who abuses Kurt because he has a boys name on his hand. One night, she gets really angry with Kurt and burns the palm of his hand so that the name is no longer readable. Skip to High School, where Kurt is withdrawn and hardly ever speaks. He is still bullied severely for being gay, even though he was too scared to join New Directions. At some point in Kurt’s junior year, Blaine transfers to McKinley. As soon as Kurt sees Blaine, he knows that he is the one, however he is scared to approach him because his self-esteem has been lowered severely due to years of abuse and thinks that everybody he loves will eventually leave him. Besides, Blaine is beautiful and popular, despite being openly gay and in glee, how could someone that confident and charming ever like him? Blaine is fascinated with the mysterious blue-eyed boy who rarely speaks, and is determined to find out more about him. However, he always disappears before Blaine can approach him. (I’m leaving the rest out because I don’t want to ruin it, but you can read the rest of it if you follow the link below)
Why I love it: Again, I am a sucker for soulmate!fics, and this one definitely brings something new to the mix. Poor Kurt’s home life is absolutely dreadful, and his self worth is pretty low because of it. Enter Blaine, with his bright pants and even brighter personality. Although the story is still just in the beginning stages, it is absolutely adorable to watch the two boys interact, and it’s just so fun to read! It’s definitely a story that I am emotionally invested in, because I get extremely upset when we hear about Kurt’s foster home and I am HOPING that he can move out soon, it’s just really tough to read about such hatred! Summary: (The first part of the prompt is as follows) Kurt and Blaine have been married for a few years when Kurt gets into an accident and ends up in a coma. I’d like him to be in a coma for awhile and for Blaine to seriously consider pulling the plug (discussing it with Burt etc.) because he knows Kurt isn’t really living and the doctors say the chances of him coming out of it are very slim. Blaine is almost ready to do it when Kurt comes out of his coma. I want to see Blaine’s utter relief at not having to pull the plug and that Kurt is going to be okay. Only when Blaine is finally able to see Kurt, Kurt doesn’t recognize him. Kurt is upset and asking for his dad etc. and after several tests the doctors tell Blaine that Kurt has amnesia and his last memories are from when he was 14. He doesn’t even remember coming out.
Why I love it: I don’t think I’ve ever rec’d something straight from the GKM before (or…maybe once… I have a TERRIBLE memory), so this is a first, but this story is incredible and it’s not just smut, there is a wonderful plot that is sweet and sad and gives you ‘all the feelings’. There are a lot of amnesia!fics out there, but this one is just different to me for some reason. Kurt is just so innocent (he thinks he is 14), and Blaine is just so understanding, their relationship is just beautiful to read about. It’s just really neat that Blaine get’s to help Kurt have a bunch of ‘firsts’ even though Blaine can remember being a part of those firsts many years ago, and he makes everything extremely special (and this is not just smut wise, when Blaine is showing Kurt New York it is adorable!). I definitely encourage you all to check this out, it is a wonderful fill for a great prompt, full of angst and sweetness!
